6-year-old Magdalena Kostadinova from Dobrich debuted at competitions with first places (VIDEO)

Three first prizes were won by 6-year-old Magdalena Kostadinova from Dobrich in two music competitions this month. The daughter of the singer from PFA “Dobrudja” Katya Grekova-Kostadinova, participated in a national online contest for singers and author’s song “E-Fest”. In the category of Author’s music based on folklore, Maggie participated with the song “Girl and Boy”, which is based on the lyrics and music of her mother and arranged by Emil Halachev, and won first place in the category. As the author of the song, Katya Grekova-Kostadinova herself is also honored. However, she says she enjoys the special “Audience Award” award the most. This is due to the fact that in just two days the video has 1600 likes, even more views and over 260 shares.

Certificates and medals for first places were received in the mail at the beginning of the week. And at the end of last week, Magdalena won first place in the 24th edition of the National Festival “Folklore Sunrise”, which takes place in Varna. There she performed with two songs – “Day of Mourning” and the author’s “Forest Fun”, being among the winners of the first prize for vocal performers in the age group (3-7 years). Vanya Moneva, Danislav Kehaiov and Prof. Milcho Vassilev were among the members of the jury of the festival, which is of a competitive nature. It is curious that 6-year-old Magdalena is the author of two of the verses of the song “Forest Fun”, and the others are the work of her mother. A video for this song is also planned to be shot soon.

The proud mother says that at the moment, Maggie is very attracted to folklore, even learning some songs herself that she discovered on the Internet.
