As of today, the Philip Morris Bulgaria traveling exhibition is officially in Haskovo. It is exhibited in the center of the city and is realized with the cooperation of Haskovo Municipality and the media partnership of Maritsa village.
The Mayor of Haskovo Municipality, Stanislav Dechev, congratulated the initiators for the idea to speak with concern and responsibility about the big problem of pollution of the urban environment with cigarette butts.
“Haskovo is a clean city and we are making great efforts to make it more and more welcoming. However, in order to “change the picture” we must take care of the urban spaces, just as we take care of cleanliness in our homes. Because Haskovo is our home . And I believe that the majority of people who live here think like me,” said Dechev.
“I wish you success and I hope for good weather in the coming days so that the messages of this exhibition can reach more people,” added Stanislav Dechev.
Cigarette butt pollution is a global problem. Every second, tens of thousands of cigarette butts are thrown out and pollute the environment. This is a problem that affects us all. We must act now.
