Until the end of April, in the kindergarten of “Crystal” in Sofia, an exhibition of a photo shoot of the beauties from BA is on display.

The exhibition is on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of our membership in NATO, but it also marks the 75th year since there have been women in the army, BNR informs.

Army ladies are easier to photograph than civilian ladies. But the trick is to make the shot casual. This is what military photographer Vyara Yoveva says, whose photos are arranged in the center of Sofia.

Senior Lieutenant Selda Akhmedova hopes to have a few more women in the army. As part of the rescue crew of the “Krumovo” helicopter base, she rescued people in distress in the mountains and during the floods in the villages of Karlovy Vary in the fall of the 22nd.

In fact, Selda is the first female flight engineer on a Cougar helicopter in our helicopter aviation.

Colonel Diana Yaneva is one of those ladies who have certainly done their job so that there is no prejudice against ladies in the army. Along with Selda, Colonel Yaneva is part of the 18 percent serving who are not male in the army.

Colonel Diana Yaneva even says that she has been in the army since before NATO membership, even before the new century… since 1997. She passed through the hierarchy and in the summer of 23, Colonel Yaneva became the first female commander at the regimental level of the mobile communication and information system in Gorna Malina.

And that the ladies are in no way inferior to the men in the army, it was clear as early as the ninth century, recalled Major General Todor Dochev, head of the Military Academy “G. Rakovski”.

The pictures of the ladies in the army from the present will be in the Crystal garden until the end of the month. And the army often reminds us that they are looking for young and ambitious people.

Figures from the latest Defense Report do not account for the gender of the military.
