Boyko Borisov with an assist for the first place of “Vitosha” in Southwestern Bulgaria

For another year, the veterans of “Vitosha” (Bistrica) won the first place in Southwest Bulgaria and qualified for the 1/2-finals of the championship, “24 Chasa” reported.

“Vitosha” defeated the veterans of “Kyustendil” 3:0 in a rather contested match.

The leader of GERB Boyko Borisov assisted for the first goal of his team, which was the work of former national player Georgi Peev. After that, Niki Nikolov and Diyan Hristov signed.

Boyko Borisov received the cup for the champion of Southwest Bulgaria, after which he was thrown into the air by his teammates.

“Botev” (Plovdiv) is also in the 1/2-final for the title, after beating “Beroe” 2:0 in Haskovo in a dispute for the first place in Southeast Bulgaria. Krasimir Vassilev and Georgi Antonov scored for the winners.

So the foursome for the title has already been finalized. The veterans of “Botev” (Vratsa) and “Cherno More” (Varna) come from Northern Bulgaria.

Pairings will be determined by lot.

“Vitosha” (Bistrica) is an analogue of “Ludogorets” in the championship for veterans. This season, Borisov’s team will be chasing their eighth consecutive championship title, while some believe that the first places are already approaching 10. On Sunday, the people of Razgrad will take their 13th consecutive champion’s cup.
