The real estate is owned by Angel Gunchev. He was one of those arrested during the discovery of two drug laboratories and a marijuana warehouse in the area of the former “Alen Mak” plant. Gunchev and his accomplice Georgi Todorov are in custody with a permanent measure of remand “in custody”, confirmed by the Court of Appeal.
The cultivation of the narcotic plants took place in specially equipped outbuildings in the area of the former pool base on the outskirts of Plovdiv. Witnesses noticed movement towards a second object, and after an inspection, a second greenhouse with marijuana was discovered.
A month after the discovery of the drug laboratory, the CSI Stefan Gorchev announced the sale of the property to satisfy the claimant’s claim under enforcement case No: 20248250400012. According to the information in the cadastral maps and registers, the land has a permanent purpose of the territory: agricultural, permanent use: fish pond, category of ground: 0 (zero). The described real estate has encumbrances, including a foreclosure from 12.12.2022 and a contractual mortgage from 08.9.2023.
The property is for sale because Angel Gunchev is a mortgage debtor. According to the Civil Procedure Code /CPC/, the writ of execution issued against the debtor is also valid against the third party who secured the claim with a mortgage (mortgagor). The creditor has no claim against the mortgagor, but only the right to be satisfied from the mortgaged property.
The procedure for the public sale is open until May 8, 2024, and the announcement of the buyer will be made the next day – May 9, 2024 (Thursday) at 9:00 a.m. by the private bailiff in the building of the Regional Court – Plovdiv .
