The first edition of the children’s chess tournament “The 100 Voivodes” will be held in the Military Club – Sliven on April 27, Saturday, announced the organizers from the Intellect Chess School of the Military Club.

All Bulgarian and foreign chess players born after 31.12.2009 and who submitted a request to the email: [email protected] have the right to participate.
The participation of the first 60 registrants is guaranteed.

Competitors will be divided into two tournaments – “B” for children up to 8 years old and “A” for everyone else (up to 14 years old). The tournament will be held according to the Swiss system in 7 rounds, and the Swiss Manager computer program will be used for the draw.
Game control: 15 minutes + 5 seconds per competitor to complete the game.

Awards:
Tournament “B”
Kindergarten children – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place – medal and subject prizes;
Children up to 8 years old – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place – medal and subject prize

Tournament “A”
Children up to 10 years old – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place – medal and subject prize
Children up to 12 years old – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place – medal and subject prize
Children up to 14 years old – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place – medal and subject prize

Registration of participants will be until 09.30 on April 27, 2024. Technical conference – is scheduled for 09.45.
First round starts at 10.00 a.m., Second round – 10.40 a.m., Third round – 11.20 a.m.
After the lunch break, the tournament continues with Fourth Round – 12.30 p.m., Fifth Round – 1.10 p.m., Sixth Round – 1.50 p.m., Seventh Round – 2.30 p.m.
The closing of the tournament and the award ceremony are scheduled for 3:20 p.m.
