The historical centers of developed European cities are their faces, the most visited and photographed areas. Burgas also has its interesting architecture and specific spirit that appeals to many. Along with supporting the care of the buildings, the Municipality of Burgas also purposefully invests in the renovation of the infrastructure in its historical core. But in such a way as to preserve the bohemian vision and the imprint of history.

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov, accompanied by his deputy, engineer Chanka Koralska, inspected the work on “Doctor Nieder” Street. There, the plumbing installed new pipes along the entire length. They were followed by other operators of underground networks. The Municipality has now commissioned work on the construction of sidewalks and a drainage system, which is progressing. From Monday, paving will begin on Doctor Nieder Street, where there will be new lighting, anti-parking pegs.

On the neighboring “Raina Knyaginya” street, which also has an exit to the main pedestrian “Bogoridi” street, plumbing is already working. The state company assures that they will replace the pipes by mid-May. After them, the Municipality will enter the field again with the arrangement of pavers, sidewalks, landscaping, lighting.

The same thing will happen on “Lavele” and “Shagunov” streets, but after the water supply company first replaces the old pipes. In these locations, the Municipality of Burgas will work with classic paving, not asphalt.

“I believe that with the implementation of the repairs, we will make this part of the city even more interesting, visited and favorable for business development,” said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.
