“Greenpeace” – Bulgaria invites residents of Varna to a free screening of the film How to change the world (“How to change the world”).

The film presents the story of the birth of “Greenpeace” and won a number of international awards for masterful documentary.

The event will take place in the Social Teahouse in Varna on April 25 (Thursday) and starts at 6:30 p.m.

The organizers will share information about their latest campaign “Living Black Sea” and how we can together save life in it.

About the movie How to Change the World:

In 1971, a group of friends set sail to stop nuclear testing in Amchitka, Alaska. Their protest captivated the whole world. This is the birth of Greenpeace and the defining event of the modern green movement.

From the very first action, through the means of expression of the seventh art – cinema, the Greenpeace activists casually recorded their adventure on 16 mm tape. In the person of Bob Hunter – a writer and journalist with a sincere and comedic view of himself and the group, they find the best possible chronicler.

Using vivid archival footage and the witty narration of Bob Hunter, a guiding figure from the organization’s early years, director Jerry Rothwell creates a compelling film.

The film contains scenes that are not suitable for sensitive people.
