PTG “Dr. Nikola Vasiliadi” qualified for the national football finals

The team of Professional Technical High School “Dr. Nikola Vasiliadi” – Gabrovo, grades 11-12, qualified for the finals of the National School Games, after becoming the zonal champion of Gabrovo, Pleven, Lovech, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Vidin and Montana regions .

There, he will face off in contention for the Country Cup with the other five victorious regional champions. The football players from Gabrovo, led by the coaching tandem of deputy director Hristo Minkov and teacher Nadezhda Naidenova, recorded success over PTGE “Hristo Botev” – Montana.

The match between them was played today, April 25, in Sevlievo and ended with a score of 4:2. At the “Rakovski” stadium, the people of Gabrovo left no doubt as to which of the two teams deserves to fight for the Bulgarian Cup. Despite the difficult start of the match, PTG – Gabrovo caught up with a 0:1 deficit and turned the match to 4:1.

Dorian Nikolaev and Hristiyan Penchev scored two goals each for “Vasiliadevtsi” in the opponent’s goal, which materialized the excellent performance of the entire team. At the end of the meeting, PTGE “Hristo Botev” managed to return one goal, but the final whistle came with this result.

Thus, after the victory, the zonal leader of the Gabrovo, Pleven, Lovech, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratsa, Vidin and Montana regions join the battle for the National Cup, in competition with the winners from the other regions in the country. The final tournament will be held at the beginning of May in Razgrad.
