This became clear at today’s session. The mayor, Eng. Ognyan Atanasov, made the clarification, after a question was put to the municipal councilor, Adv. Todorka Skripkina, is it possible to organize a dignified send-off for this year’s graduates.

The mayor was adamant that the fact that the show-goers gather at the station square, where the maanets predominate, because of Romani musicians, will remain in history.

“Things will happen culturally. So let’s send our graduates off with dignity. The organization of balls in the municipality will be different this year. Cars will come through Gorosvetna street. They will pass along “Demokratia” street and drop off high school graduates, and then return. Graduates will gather at Velbuzhd Square, where there will be a triumphal arch for them to pass through. From there, to the sounds of the brass band, they will be escorted with dignity through the entire pedestrian alley on “Bulgaria” Blvd. to the “Velbuzhd” restaurant, and not only from the station square to Velbuzhd. Their relatives will be able to rejoice there as well. I think it will be a nice and cultural tradition. Be calm”, assured the mayor Eng. Ognyan Atanasov.
