A month-long cleaning of Vidin has ended, which began on March 22 – World Water Day and ended on April 22 – Earth Day, Vidin ecologist Bogomil Petrov explained:
“It can’t be cleaned in one day, it can’t be done in a month either, but still we sent a notice to the schools and to the kindergartens, and everything started on March 22 from the Nightingale kindergarten No. 11.”
Bogomil Petrov is preparing another photo exhibition with photos from the cleaning. He himself regularly cleans the Khimik neighborhood where he lives. He called on everyone from the neighborhood to sign a petition to declare the area a park zone. He will collect the signatures personally, after which he will submit them to the Municipal Council for decision-making.
“The students came up with a proposal in connection with the creation or creation for a short time, a certain time order, of a plastic monument as a warning to people about the danger of plastics,” pointed out Bogomil Petrov.
