In the next two days, teachers and principals from the country, who are part of the Google reference schools community, will meet in Gabrovo, the municipality reports. The Google Reference School (GRS) program aims to recognize and support schools actively using Google for Education tools. Schools participating in the program demonstrate a high standard of innovation in education and effective use of technology to improve the educational process. The event is organized by the Center for Creative Education, and representatives of Moldova and Kazakhstan are included in the meeting, who will follow the topics and gain good experience from what has already been implemented in our country. Deputy Mayor Nevena Mineva welcomed the participants in the meeting on behalf of Mayor Tanya Hristova and the Municipality of Gabrovo. The methods and means of training must meet the modern requirements of the time and especially our children, stressed Nevena Mineva and added: “We are no longer talking about generations Z, we are already talking about the “Alpha” children, who hardly know the analog world. They are in contact with smartphones and tablets from a very young age. Some even intuitively handle these devices even before they speak. That is why it is increasingly important that the accumulation of knowledge corresponds to the acquisition and development of skills for children the professions of the future. We all need to use the givens of the time we live in. To be able to quickly and easily learn a synthesized lesson to have time for more creativity and creativity. To be able to travel during a lesson or to create its content yourself under the mentorship of your teacher – this sounds not only interesting, but also much more inclusive. Innovations are all around us and we cannot stand aside, on the contrary – our country has prerequisites and ranks among the first places in Europe in terms of the number of teachers successfully certified by Google. This is a chance.” The Deputy Mayor wished the participants that their meeting with the Center for Creative Education would inspire, provoke and motivate them even more in the future.

How to keep up with the times with innovative applications of artificial intelligence in education. School in the Cloud: Challenges, Solutions, Good Practices; sharing good practices, what is it like to be a Google School and a Google Certified Trainer?, as well as various workshops on the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY method.
