Residents of the Burgas “P.R. Slaveykov” complex have announced that they will close a junction boulevard in the city if the signal submitted by them to the institutions is not taken into account. It is about the excavated street between blocks numbered 15, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22, 65, 71, 72, 113 and 114 in the complex. In December 2022, a company hired by VV began digging to replace pipes along the street. After the completion of the activities, the excavations were buried and the street has been standing for more than a year without being repaved.

“As a result, huge potholes and irregularities appeared. In the summer season, when the weather is dry and because of the cars passing on the street in question, clouds of dust are raised, and in the autumn-winter season, when the rains start, everything is in mud and dirt. For more than a year now, due to the inaction of the institutions responsible for this, we citizens and businesses are forced to suffer the harmful consequences of this, to breathe air with a high concentration of dust and to move along a muddy and dirty street, and our children can’t go out to play or do sports because of the dust in the air”, says the report of the residents of these blocks, which was sent to the Waterworks – Burgas, to the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov, to the Municipal Council of Burgas , to the regional governor, to the head of the “Road Police” sector at the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs – Burgas, to the ombudsman, to the District Prosecutor’s Office – Burgas, to the Regional Inspectorate for the Environment and Water!
