The regional averages for Europe, Central Asia and Canada are 2% for boys and girls at 11 years of age, 5% for boys and 6% for girls at 13 years of age, and 15% for both sexes at 15 years of age.
Data on e-cigarettes are mirrored. Over 30% of Bulgarian students aged 15 have used an electronic cigarette in the last 30 days.
Bulgaria was rated Good 3.59 for its care of children
When it comes to drinking alcohol, Bulgarian boys are at the forefront. 20% of 11-year-olds have consumed alcohol at least once in the past 30 days. The figure jumps to 32% among 13-year-olds. Bulgarian boys aged 15 also lead the ranking in the use of cannabis with 19%.
