On the Tsvetnitsa holiday itself, the graduates of NUI “Dobri Hristov” will delight the young Varna audience with the spring mood of a colorful and multifaceted concert from the series “Varna Summer for Children”, an educational module from the program of the International Music Festival “Varna Summer”. The event is joint project of NUI “Dobri Hristov”, Municipality of Varna and BNT Varna and is a continuation of the series “Tales of Mrs. Viola”. The concert will be on April 28 at 11:00 in Hall 1 of the Festival and Congress Center in Varna.

Music and dance from different eras and styles are interwoven in the festive program called “Color Concert”. The host will be Miss Viola, beloved by the children of the seaside town – the director of NUI “Dobri Hristov” Rumyana Petrova. Masterpieces of classical, contemporary and folk music will be played, accompanied by lots of dancing.

From the legendary opera “Bohemia” by Puccini to favorite songs from the Bulgarian and world stage, from emblematic Bulgarian customs such as Lazaruvane to popular music from animated films – all this will be presented by the students of the National School of Arts in Varna at their “Color Concert”.

The Youth Symphony Orchestra with conductor Strazimir Pavlov, the Wind Orchestra with conductor Lyubo Alexandrov, the Children’s Folk Orchestra with conductor Nedko Tsarev, the “Violin” Ensemble with conductor Antoineta Ilieva, the Cavalry Group with conductor Nikolay Doctorov, dance ensembles – ballet, Bulgarian dances will perform on stage. and cheerleaders, as well as solo performers – instrumentalists, singers and dancers from the youngest to the oldest students.

With the promise of a colorful mood on the festive day with this rich palette of music and dance, the talented students will share their achievements with the Varna audience.

The start of the “Color Concert” performance is at 11 a.m., on Sunday, April 28, in Hall 1 of the Festival and Congress Center.

Tickets are BGN 5 for adults, BGN 2 for children from 7 to 18 years old, and entry for children under 7 is free. Tickets from the Festival Complex box office and online from the Festival Complex website.
