THE SPRING PART OF THE LONGEST RUNNING MUNICIPAL HEALTH INITIATIVE IN OUR COUNTRY “MOVE AND WIN” will be held in the period April 28 – June 1
The event is part of the program “Healthy children in healthy families” of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo and its main goal is to increase the physical activity of the population.
As part of the campaign, they organized three marches. The first is on the route Veliko Tarnovo – “Bozhur” hut on April 28, the second is in the direction of Veliko Tarnovo – Preobrazhensky Monastery on May 18, and the third – Veliko Tarnovo – Xilifor – on June 1.
At the end points of the three routes, educational activities related to the prevention of health risk factors will be held and blood pressure measurement will be provided.
According to the regulations of the campaign, interested persons from the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo can participate in it, who walk the relevant tourist route at least in one direction, registering at the end of it by filling in a special participation form. At a special ceremony, prizes will be awarded to those who participated, and the lucky ones will be chosen by lot.
Since the launch of “Move and Win”, 41 campaigns have been carried out with a total number of participants of 20,002 children, students and the elderly, including and 463 families. The event is organized by RZI – Veliko Tarnovo, Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo, Tourist Association “Trapezitsa 1902” and Youth Center – Veliko Tarnovo, and is under the auspices of the chairman of the Veliko Tarnovo Municipal Council.
