The Municipality of Dobrich announced a public tender for the reconstruction of the market

The Municipality of Dobrich has announced a public tender for the reconstruction of the Central Cooperative Market. The total value of the project “New appearance of the central market of the city of Dobrich and its adjacent territory” is BGN 10,500,000. We remind you that in March of this year MRRD signed agreements with the Municipality of Dobrich for the financing of 14 projects, including the one for the market. The state provides BGN 8.6 million for the project through the investment program for municipal projects.

MRRD gave the green light to 26 infrastructure projects in 5 municipalities in the Dobrich region

The municipality expects bids for the construction and installation works by May 21.

The project envisages 3 stages of implementation. The first stage covers the area from Ogosta St. to the parking lot on Otets Paisiy St. in the east-west direction and from Knyaz Dondukov St. to the stage in the north-south direction. The second stage covers the newly designed parking lot on “Otets Paisiy” Street and part of the pedestrian approach to the southwest part of the market. The third stage covers the approach to the underpass from the west.

The price for the construction of the new market in Dobrich swelled from BGN 4.8 to BGN 8.4 million

The new market will have three types of kiosks and 116 fruit and vegetable stalls. In the northern part of the field, a multi-functional square space has been formed. It foresees a stage, a dry fountain, areas for recreation, consumption and the possibility of organizing events of a different nature.

There are two car parks; to “Knyaz Dondukov” Street for 9 cars and a parking lot for 36 cars with longitudinal and transverse parking on “Otets Paisiy” Street in the area of ​​its future expansion, or a total of 45 parking spaces, of which 4 For people with disabilities.

Three fountains are planned, one at each end and one central fountain (fountain) with troughs in the center of the market. A total of 32 benches are provided along the periphery from the west, under the cover, as well as on both sides of the stage. Of these, 12 are freestanding, and 20 are combined with retaining walls. The concrete supporting and forming walls are executed with a “mosaic” finish.
