For Easter

On the eve of Easter, the students from the 8th grade of the Romain Rollan Public School, with the class teacher Mrs. Maria Kombakova, visited the “Protected Housing for Adults with Mental Retardation” in Stara Zagora and delighted the residents with gifts.

With the funds collected from their savings, the graduates of the Language High School purchased tools for occupational therapy, needed in the daily activities of the users of the service, and also made various goodies for the upcoming holidays, including sweets, traditional for the holiday kozunaci and others. The students also demonstrated their enviable skills in the intensively studied German language, by reading and translating various texts related to Easter traditions in Germany.

“We are happy that we were able to welcome the children to us thanks to one of the parents who referred them – the director of the Regional Directorate – Social Assistance Mrs. Petya Chakarova. All 18 people who live here appreciate every such meeting, because it motivates them and makes them smile,” said the manager of the service Assoc. Dr. Nadia Vlaeva.

The students expressed their satisfaction with the charity, assured to make such initiatives a tradition and urged their peers to follow their example.
