“The only message I have for the youth and students is only one – never give up and be persistent. They should know that despite their knowledge they are entering the market, and there the most important thing is to realize that success costs money. He has a price.” This was stated by Magardich Halvadzhiyan to the students of Veliko Tarnovo University. The popular director and producer presented to the academic community his biographical book “No ads”. “I have made it my mission for many years to speak to students, because I realize – from the questions they ask me – that some of them are extremely disoriented. They live in a bubble. That’s why the parents, and the teachers at school, and the professors at the university are to blame, because studying dry matter – it’s nice, you become a professional, but what your parents, the school, the university should teach you is about the good, the bad, the philosophy of life, what kind of person you should become. You can be a great professional – I know many good professionals who are starving, unable to find work because there are rules in business. If university and school didn’t teach you these rules – how to survive out in the jungle that is business life – you have a big problem. I think the book will help you a lot, because I told what decisions I made in crisis situations, when there was a blocked street, there is no way out, everything ends, end, end of business,” said the author of “No ads.” According to him, the moments of crisis can be many, in this way you have to learn to work with your head. “Because one crisis comes and goes, but then comes the third, the fifth, the eighth, and when you have the mechanisms for your head to deal with this kind of problems – in practice, you don’t have a problem, because you can solve any problem,” emphasized Halvajian.
The process of creating “Without Ads” lasted two years, and the stories told by the author were processed by Vladi Aprilov. “As many things happen to me every week as a normal person does in years. I’m a hyper-proactive, absolutely crazy person who doesn’t stop. I can’t stay in one place, I hate Saturdays and Sundays, I can’t stand holidays and weekends because everything stops and nobody wants to work and it drives me crazy. So people like me have a lot to tell,” Maggi Halvajian explained why he decided to share personal life stories and the path to the television arena, not hiding that the hardest thing was to return to the memory of his father’s death, who died at the age of 51 of a heart attack.
In over 600 pages, the director, producer and visionary talks about his family outside of television and about the television that he has made his home, about his work and friendships with famous Bulgarian stars, including Lili Ivanova, Sofi Marinova, Asen Blatechki, Dimitar Rachkov.
The premiere of “Without ads” took place in the hall of Veliko Tarnovo University with the participation of the editor-in-chief Dimitar Rikov.
