Bulgaria cannot have a normal government from now on, if this dependence of Boyko Borisov on Delyan Peevski is not broken, the co-chairman of “We continue the change” (PP) Kiril Petkov told journalists on the sidelines of the parliament.

According to him, Delyan Peevski hung around Boyko Borisov’s neck and was suffocating him. Petkov also appealed to GERB voters that if they want the party to have a normal government and be part of the European government, they must get rid of the millstone that has hung on the big, perhaps slippery neck of Mr. Borisov, and that is Mr. Peevski.

I am sure that Rosen Zhelyazkov would not have violated the Constitution and the rules if he had free will, Kiril Petkov pointed out on the occasion of the removal of the Speaker of the Parliament. Yes, but Mr. Peevski shouted at him from the front row, Mr. Borisov agreed and he broke the rules, he commented.

According to the co-chairman of the PP, Delyan Peevski, he simply does not want to hand over power – permanent power in the prosecutor’s office, in the regulators, in the judicial system, everywhere. On the occasion of the competitions, Petkov said that the PP do not want to control things, but “fair competitions in the regulators, in the services, in the judiciary”.

Kiril Petkov also said that a working judicial system means that if there are doubts, for example about Zhivko Kotsev, a trial begins, the prosecutor’s office investigates, things are moving, there are facts that are brought to court and that is normal. “Which is not normal – for Mr. Sarafov or the eighth dwarf, as some call him, to call the general secretary in the morning and tell him – if you do not resign, we will arrest you. If Zhivko Kotsev is guilty – you let one person go, who is guilty at large because he committed a political act. If he is not guilty – are you using the prosecutor’s office as a club to threaten people in high professional positions in politics,” asked Kiril Petkov.
