“Georgi Izmirliev” Square is filled with children from all over the municipality who sing, dance and do good deeds. The traditional school charity bazaar is accompanied by a concert. Either with stands or with stage performances, but almost all educational institutions from the municipality participate.

Everyone involved in the charity bazaar has their own causes or they support the cause of the organization of cancer patients, which is holding its own bazaar at the same time.

All the stalls have a lot of Easter decorations, handmade souvenirs, lots of delicious things, also made by students and teachers.

SU “Georgi Izmirliev” will support the causes of the organization of cancer patients with its charity stand today.

For the boys and girls from PGE “Lomonosov”, today is a continuation of the campaign that started a few days ago. Club “Bagatur” is lazarova this year as well, as traditionally the collected funds will be for needy students of the school. This year, the young people want to support a ninth-grader who is undergoing treatment at “Pirogov” and has many medical interventions ahead of him. Part of the funds will be for high school graduates and students with one parent or in a difficult financial situation. Funds will also be allocated for the causes of cancer patients.

Pupils and teachers from PTG “Vasil Levski” participate in the charity bazaar with the idea of ​​helping 4-year-old Ani from Pravda, who needs funds for rehabilitation after surgery.

At the tastiest stand – that of PGHT “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”, are collecting funds to help their classmate. The eighth grader’s family is going through a difficult time and classmates and teachers want to help him.

There is a lot of painted ceramics at the “Vicho Grncharov” SU stand, and this is no accident. One of the school’s causes is to invest the collected funds in the ceramics studio, which is resurrected after 30 years of oblivion. Part of the money will also support the organization of cancer patients.

Young people from the “Atanas Burov” PGLPI dedicate their charity work to children with cancer. At their stand, they offer unique things made on the school’s 3D printer. Participation in the bazaar is a continuation of the joint work with the organization of cancer patients, and also part of the events preceding the school holiday. On May 15, PGLPI will celebrate 60 years since its establishment.

At their stand, the children and teachers from the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” are collecting funds to set up a reading corner in the school.

By participating in the bazaar, “Elin Pelin” Elementary School wants to raise funds for new tables and chairs for the classrooms.

In parallel with the bazaar in the square there is also a holiday concert. First on the improvised stage, the children from the “Zvancheta” vocal group at the “Ivan Vazov” primary school performed Lazarus songs, followed by the school’s cheerleaders. Individual performers and groups from the “St. Kliment Ohridski” in Draganovo, from the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” in Dolna Oryahovitsa and the school of the same name in Gorna Oryahovitsa, OU “Elin Pelin” – Parvomaitsi, SU “Georgi Izmirliev”, SU “Vicho Grncharov” and PGEE “M. V. Lomonosov”.
