An aggressive driver threw a controller out of a bus in Plovdiv, inviting the passengers as well

--

An aggressive bus driver on route 21 threw an OKT controller off the bus, also ejecting passengers during the course, a TrafficNews reporter reported. The accident happened on “Pobeda” Blvd., while traveling to the Filipovo station stop.

The controller from the OCT, Silvia Naydenova, said that she made a routine check on the part of the Plovdiv Municipality for the transport documents of the bus and the driver – waybills, as well as the tickets that are being sold.

“The driver obstructed my inspection – he did not give me the inspection sheet. He started shouting and insulting a lot. I will not say what words he said to us. He threatened to call the police, and the passengers got off. At the same time, we also called 112, a patrol car and traffic police came. It turned out that he had not filled out the road and control sheet. There have been three violations so far,” said Naydenova.

The driver turned to one of the passengers: “Do you want me to hit you now”, and then declared that he was also leaving this “darak, whoever wants to drive it”.

The inspection was also for the sale of old or unregulated tickets by the driver who sells them. In the last month, OKT has tightened its belt, catching a number of violators – conductors and drivers who sell old tickets.

At the same time, more and more often the controllers become the object of aggression on the part of the drivers and conductors. There have been cases where bus drivers also do not stop at bus stops when they see controllers.

The deputy mayor for transport Savina Petkova also came to the place, as well as representatives of the transport company in the person of “Avtotrans Cholakov”.
