The municipal council in Blagoevgrad has supported the proposal Pirin to be managed by a joint-stock company, as it has been several times in the past.
The accepted proposal was submitted by the mayor of Blagoevgrad Municipality, Metodi Baikushev, and was unanimously accepted by the local government. Thus, the management of the club will be taken over by the local businessman Georgi Spasov and his partner from Sofia, Milen Stefanov.

The two have revealed in the previous days that they have a development plan that is realistic until 2028. Now the Municipality will remain with 10% of the Joint Stock Company.
Petar Zanev – manager and representative of the Municipality in the management – will continue his work in the club, and a new name in the management will be Stanislav Manolev.
