A meeting under the motto “Fix with friends” will be held on April 27 (Saturday) in Stara Zagora. The purpose of the event is for residents of Staro Zagora to bring their old appliances or items, which can be repaired by on-site craftsmen in a pleasant environment and over a cup of coffee.
“The meeting is part of the sustainability period of the project under OP “Environment” to prevent the formation of waste by promoting the extension of the life cycle of products”, said Elena Georgieva, manager of the project beneficiary.
She recalled that the idea of the so-called – Repair Café is borrowed from the Netherlands.
In Stara Zagora, the meeting will be held at 147 Kolyo Ganchev Street from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nearly 250 people have passed through the cafe for repairs of old items under the project, Elena Georgieva reported, and reported that within the project, the citizens of Staro Zagorje saved over 1 ton and 200 kilograms of waste in one year:
