Junior Band will also conquer Cyprus. They are visiting a local Bulgarian school in Pefkari

On a three-day tour in Cyprus are the talents from the “Emilian Stanev” SU orchestra in Veliko Tarnovo Junior Band. Early in the morning, 35 of the graduates of music teacher and conductor Yordan Tsvetanov landed at the airport in Pefkari. From there, they will go to the city of Paralimni, where they will be guests at the invitation of the local Bulgarian school “Narodni Buditeli”. This year it celebrates 15 years since its creation and on this occasion it organizes a three-day festival, which includes our musicians.

The whole city will respect the event, because it is part of the cultural calendar of the municipality, explained its director Zivka Milova. Personally, she invites the Junior Band for the guest appearance, as she has been following their performances for years and likes them very much.

This will be another appearance of the talented musicians abroad. Wherever they perform, they conquer the audience and win new and new admirers beyond the borders of Bulgaria.

Children’s Bulgarian and Cypriot ensembles, Bulgarian folklore formations, performers and vocal groups from all over the island will be included in the celebration of the “Narodni Buditeli” school. The Junior Band are the anchor of the program and have prepared for their hosts a rich repertoire of hits that they perform.

Just a few hours before leaving for Cyprus, the musicians were part of the festive program for the 100th anniversary of “Eter” and played to the crowd of thousands at the Ivaylo stadium before the match of the legendary footballers.
