INCIDENT INFORMATION BULLETIN
INCIDENTS ON THE TERRITORY OF ODVMR – BLAGOEVGRAD

1. Yesterday in the city of Blagoevgrad, employees of the sector “Combating economic crime” at 01 and 02 RU-Blagoevgrad checked supermarkets of a commercial chain, in which they found and seized about 207 tubes of 5 liters each with liquid detergent, bearing a preserved trademark, without permission from the right holder. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case. Work continues.

2. During an inspection of a building inhabited by a 59-year-old woman from the city yesterday in the town of Petrich, police officers of the RU-Petrich found about 100 cigarettes bearing a foreign control mark. The competent prosecutor’s office has been notified of the case.

3. A 25-year-old man from the village of Mesta, commune, was detained by police officers of RU-Gotse Delchev with a detention order of up to 24 hours. Bansko. Around 18:55 on 25/04/2024 in the town of Gotse Delchev, he beat a 21-year-old woman from the town, with whom he lives on a family basis. The victim was admitted for observation at the Medical Center-Gotse Delchev with a concussion and an open wound on the forehead. The competent prosecutor’s office was notified of the case and pre-trial proceedings were initiated.

4. Police officers of RU-Sandanski are working on a report received between 08:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on 25.04.2024, theft of a woman’s purse with personal documents in it and the sum of about BGN 2,000 from an establishment for fast food in Sandanski. In this case, pre-trial proceedings have been initiated for a crime committed under Article 194, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

5. On 04/25/2024 at around 09:45 on the road between the village of Dabnitsa and the village of Dolno Dryanovo, a Volkswagen Golf car with a 31-year-old driver from the village of Osina, municipality Satovcha, entered the oncoming traffic lane and hit a Citroen car. The 29-year-old driver of the Citroen car suffered an injury to the palm and thigh, and the driver of the Volkswagen Golf car suffered an arm injury. After a medical examination, they are released for home treatment. Both drivers were tested with technical means for the use of alcohol, which were negative. The 31-year-old driver tested positive for the use of narcotic substances. He is being held on a 24-hour warrant. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
