A press conference was held today in the BTA press club on the occasion of the premiere of the play “The Infanta’s Birthday” based on Oscar Wilde at the Nikola Vaptsarov Drama Theater – Blagoevgrad on April 27 at 6 p.m. Ilya Pepelanov, marketing manager of the theater, director Todor Valov and actors Aladdin Aliibrahim, Katya Ivanova and Pepa Maneva were present.

“The Infanta’s Birthday” based on Oscar Wilde is a fabulous family spectacle, the work of director Todor Valov and set designer Nataliya Gocheva – one of the most distinguished professionals in the field of puppetry. The performance is suitable for parents and children over 7 years old, who can understand the themes in it and provoke a conversation in the family about the most important feelings that a child needs. Oscar Wilde is also interested in this tale about the rise and fall of the human soul, human morality and morality. The main character in the tale is a 12-year-old child who grows up with rules dictated by adults, which turn him into a cruel, soulless being, deprived of the most important feeling – love. As a royal child, the princess of Spain is expected to become a dictator, with no developed sense of compassion.

Laura Hristova is in the role of the infanta. Actors Katya Ivanova, Nedilyana Pavlik, Pepa Maneva, Alexander Mitev, Dimitar Stoinov, Aladin Aliibrahim and Teodor Kukov are also participating.

Spectacular costumes and masks, combined with the musical adaptation by Plamen Mirchev – Mirona, and the wonderful acting of the actors, turn “The Infanta’s Birthday” into an exciting spectacle.
