With a joyful celebration, the Nightingale Kindergarten in Razgrad is celebrating 40 years since its establishment today. In the yard of the kindergarten, the young graduates created a real children’s universe of songs and dances. In front of parents, teachers, former employees and guests, the children, like nightingales, sang the kindergarten anthem, and congratulated them with the “Color Magic”, “Butterflies” and “Robots” dances specially prepared for the celebration. Their performances were wildly applauded by those present at the festive event.
Sevdalina Velikova, head teacher of the kindergarten, greeted everyone. She pointed out that for more than 40 years in the kindergarten, they strive to create conditions for the mental and physical comfort of the graduates, and treat parents with attention and excitement. “The history of Kindergarten No. 14 continues to be written in the future, and will be added to by the next generations of children, teachers and parents,” Velikova pointed out.
The Vicar of the Bishops, Father Georgi, held a vodosvet for health. He wished health, many and blessed years, and bright Easter holidays to the children and the kindergarten team.
The solemn celebration of the 40th anniversary of the garden was also honored by the Mayor of the Municipality, Dobrin Dobrev. He congratulated the garden team on their birthday and thanked them for taking care of the most precious and priceless future – the children. On behalf of the Municipality, he presented a flower to the director Rositsa Moteva.
At the end, young and old sang together the hymn “Children of Europe”.
Opened its doors in 1984, today the Nightingale Kindergarten is an attractive center for children and parents. It is located in the central part of the Orel residential complex. In 2020, the garden was renovated according to a project of the Municipality of Razgrad for the modernization of 11 educational facilities in the city.
