Arch. Viktor Buzev: I am ready to return to the Municipality of Varna and help the new administration Moreto.net

The former chief architect of the maritime capital arch. Viktor Buzev is ready to return to work if the Supreme Administrative Court confirms all previous court decisions in his favor. He himself stated this to the media, a Moreto.net reporter reported.

“As of today, I am still under disciplinary dismissal and we expect the case to be scheduled at the Supreme Administrative Court of last resort at any moment. I hope that the Supreme Court will continue this trend of decisions and confirm them. After that, I plan to implement the decision of the Supreme Court and to be reinstated to work, to return to the Municipality of Varna to help the new administration. Varna definitely needs a professional to resume work. I understand colleagues and the new administration that they are still in an exploratory period to determine what the city’s problems are. I think I can be useful to them with information and as a professional. If we can reach an agreement regarding my requirements to return to work, I may stay for a longer period of time. My main idea and desire is to help organize, when necessary, a competition for a new chief architect of the city. It is my great desire, if legally possible, to take part in the jury, as I am not indifferent to who will take this position, and above all the continuity which I hold there to be. There are projects started that cannot happen in one term. There are things for which several mandates are needed and those for which one lifetime will not be enough, but they are important and must be worked on,” said Arch. Buzev.

The former chief architect commented that the projects to improve the urban environment have not stopped and there is definitely continuity. In his words, the realization of the project for Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. is extremely important and will give at least a 50-year horizon ahead in time.

“I am already planning to help with what the new leadership is calling for in the administration of town planning, because without town plans there is chaos. To avoid chaos, I will do my best to continue working as before with urgency on all projects that affect a large part of our fellow citizens. It is even about things related to the design of a single-family residential building. Large and significant projects will also be discussed,” said arch. Buzev.

The architect believes that one year is quite a reasonable period for the new team to gather together and for the Municipality to work normally and without delays in procedures.
