An excited crowd of mothers with prams, attracted by the wonderful spring day and the “Babymania” exhibition, gathered on April 26, 2024, the “Vasil Shakhanov” covered market in the “Kazanski” quarter of Stara Zagora. The first non-capital presentation of companies focused on goods and products for the baby and child takes place on April 26 and 27, 2024.
The place is the southern part of the covered market, there were stands of several dozen Bulgarian producers and distributors.
The support of the Municipality of Stara Zagora was expressed personally by the mayor Zhivko Todorov and the deputy mayor in charge of “Municipal property, health care and social activities” Pavlina Delcheva. “The idea of Stara Zagora Municipality is to develop a comprehensive product. And it should include not only the venue for holding exhibitions and events, but also logistics, to secure opportunities for advertising and promotion through the tools of the Municipality of Stara Zagora, which we have at our disposal, so that it can be offered in the future as a complete product to traders and organizations”, explained Pavlina Delcheva. She assured that new specialized expositions are already being considered, the press center of Stara Zagora Municipality reported.
Mayor Zhivko Todorov walked among the merchants and looked at their stands. He received an address of thanks for the expressed encouragement and assistance from the Association of Children’s Goods Dealers in Bulgaria, the organizer of the exhibition. There was competition between Stara Zagora and other cities for the first non-capital appearance of “Bebemania”, some traders expressed reservations, preferring some of the Black Sea cities, but the Stara Zagora lobby prevailed. I am convinced that the colleagues are now very satisfied with the realization of the lindens in the city, pointed out Evelina Betova, president of the Association of Children’s Goods Dealers in Bulgaria.
The parents of little ones who shopped there were also visibly satisfied. We are looking at ergonomic backpacks, mother Plamena boasted, carefully cradling one-month-old Kaloyan. “It’s my first time trying this product to see if I’ll be comfortable with it, it’s great that I can check it out on the spot,” the young woman pointed out.
We are with a 3-month-old baby named Martin and we are looking for everything – a car bin, cosmetics, well, everything, said father Ivan. He is crossing his fingers that this exhibition will be there in the coming years, as Stara Zagora needs it.
Access to “Bebemania” is completely free, sales are at preferential prices, the organizer assures the association. The opening hours of the exhibition at Vasil Shakhanov covered market are from 10:00 to 18:00 on April 26 and from 10:00 to 16:00 on April 27, 2024.
