The annual awards for achievements in the library profession were presented today at the “Partenii Pavlovich” Regional Library in Silistra.
The winner of the “Librarian of the Year” award is Galina Saluf from the library at the People’s Community Center “Svetlina 1941” in the Tutrakan village of Preslavtsi.
The same community center received the prize “Library support“. It houses a library, groups for authentic folklore, a “Young reciter” club, a local history club, a museum exhibition “The authentic Alian costume and its modern interpretations”, a theater group and dance groups.The cultural institution promotes local and international authors, as well as events and personalities of national and international importance through exhibitions in the community center building.
The “Library of the Year” award for 2023 goes to the library at the People’s Community Center “Ivan Vazov“ in the village of Sratsimir.
