“Vazrazhdane” – Haskovo are the first political force to wrap their lists for the upcoming parliamentary and municipal elections.
Georgi Georgiev, who is currently an MP, will be the leader of the list for people’s representatives. “Vazrazhdane” stated that they will present a full list of 16 people and will fight for the first political force in Haskovo region. In the municipal list, the leader will be Yasen Kolev. He urged people to vote and announced that the local party structure was against the composition of the Regional Election Commission (REC). Although the CEC determined its composition, Kolev called on the chairman of RIC-Haskovo Dobromir Yakimov to resign
“If Mr. Yakimov has a little conscience left, we call on him to resign from this post. It is not good to question the integrity of the elections. We want his resignation because Yakimov was the chairman and led the most scandalous commission in the city, and we think that not it is moral for him to lead it again in these elections”said Kolev.
