--

The Laboratory of Virology and Molecular Diagnostics at the University Hospital for Active Treatment “Prof. Dr. Stoyan Kirkovich” in Stara Zagora will start from April 29, 2024 conducting a urinal (PCR) based test to prove the causative agent of whooping cough. This is perceived as the most reliable method for rapid and accurate evaluation to prove the disease in patients with a prominent clinical disease.

The examinations will be carried out in the reception unit, located next to the southern entrance of the medical facility, by taking throat and nasal secretions every working day from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. after pre-payment of the examination fee, which is BGN 55 , specifies in his personal Facebook profile the executive director of the hospital Prof. Dr. Yovcho Yovchev.

Payment is made at the Medical Center’s registry office (the building of the polyclinic, located next to the medical facility). The results will be released on the next working day from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

Phone for contacts and booking: 042 698 511 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. every working day, starting from April 29, 2024.
