Students from the University of Veliko Tarnovo learned about the possibility of internships at BTA

--

Students from the “Journalism” and “Public Relations” majors at the University of Veliko Tarnovo learned about internship opportunities at BTA.
The freshmen from both majors were presented to the BTA correspondents in Veliko Tarnovo by their teacher Dilyana Toncheva.
The young people got acquainted with the activities of the press club of BTA in Veliko Tarnovo, which was opened in 2003, as well as with the network of press clubs of the agency in the country and abroad.
Freshmen learned about the basic principles of agency journalism and the rules laid down in the BTA Code of Ethics. For their part, the young people told why they decided to study the respective specialties. According to those who chose Public Relations, the advantage is that they themselves create events and journalists cover them. Students who study “Journalism” dream that their work will give greater transparency to the processes in society, as well as to devote themselves to journalistic investigations.
The young people were impressed by the student internship opportunities that the national agency offers through its BTA School department and said that in the coming years of their studies they would take advantage of the opportunity to put the theoretical knowledge from their studies into practice with BTA mentors.
