| The manager of the National Health Insurance Fund Momchil Mavrov will sue Lena Borislavova for defamation. The occasion – the words addressed to him, spoken on the air of “This Morning” on bTV. “At the moment, Mr. Zhelyazkov, instead of acting as dictated by the height of his position, fulfilled the order and instruction of Peevski and Borisov. It was in this way that some 8 billion BGN ended up in the hands of Mr. Mavrov,” pointed out Lena Borislavova from PP-DB. “The problem is not only that he was elected only with the votes of “Vazrazhdane” and not with those of PP-DB. The problem is that this is a person who is known to have files and folders in the prosecutor’s office and in DANS,” she also stated. “What I can say is that her words are just a lie. There are no pre-trial proceedings against me. If there had been one, I would have at least been invited for questioning. What’s more, I would have been charged.” Prof. Momchil Mavrov said to bTV. “I think that already in the fall of 2023, it became clear that an anonymous tip was filed against me, which was checked and the file on it was closed. That’s the end of everything. Today’s words of Mrs. Borislavova do not bother me I have no choice but to file a defamation case against her,” said the manager of the NHIF. |
