ChPGTP “Raiko Tsonchev” Dobrich with charity initiative “Books with a cause”

The charity book bazaar in support of the Home for cancer patients is going on in full force. People are calling me from all over the city who want to donate books, said the director of ChPGTP “Raiko Tsonchev” Dobrich Nadezhda Ivanova. The school community chose this year as its charitable cause to support the “Home for Cancer Patients” in Varna. During spring break, students, teachers and parents visited the Home for the first time. They helped the housewives to do a spring cleaning of the yard space. They cut the dried branches and trees, weeded and refreshed the green areas around the building.

Students and teachers called on their friends and people with good hearts to bring to the school building, at 3 “Bulgaria” Street, books to donate especially for the bazaar. In the last days, there is an open stand in front of the school, and the funds collected from the sale of the donated books will also be given to the Home for cancer patients to provide psychological support to its users.

The “Wonderful Garden” social enterprise and the “Passiflora” center also donated spring flowers for the home, which have already been planted and delight its visitors, Nadezhda Ivanova pointed out.
