Last night, one of the greatest directors of Bulgarian cinema – Mariana Evstatieva-Biolcheva – passed away.

Her husband, Prof. Boyan Biolchev, announced her death.

The funeral will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the “St.Sedmochislenitsi” church at 1:30 p.m.

Mariana Evstatieva-Biolcheva studied film and television directing at the Film School in Lodz, Poland.
