Beyond the most sensational titles, however, Bulgarian cinema has much more to show. As many as 90 feature, documentary and animated native films from the last year have been nominated for this year’s awards of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers “Vasil Gendov”.

We will be able to watch all of them within the framework of the National Festival of Bulgarian Cinema, which will take place from May 1 to 13 at the “House of Cinema”. All screenings will have free entry, and after them there will be meetings and conversations with some of the cast and crew of each film.
