There was an unexpected touching moment in the last episode of the imitation show “Like Two Drops of Water”. During her performance, Maria, who is among the participants in the show, saw Viktor Kalev in the audience and interrupted the presenters Dimitar Rachkov and Gerasim Georgiev-Gero to congratulate him. The pop-folk frenzy brought tears of affection to the actor, reminding him that he owes his music career to him.
“If it wasn’t for you, I might not be here now,” Maria shared.
And another time she shared that she sang, thanks to Viktor Kalev. He taught her to perform the first song with which she appeared on stage. “I love him very much. I am very grateful to him,” said the pop-folk singer in “Drops”, after kissing her mentor, who was already wiping away tears.
Maria first stepped on the stage of the children’s show “Like Lions”. She introduced herself with a song by Lili Ivanova, which she learned with the help of Viktor Kalev. It was he who prepared her for her performance, after which she started her musical journey.
