The British duo “Five Shop Boys” will release a new album, reported Reuters. The musicians define it as the most melodic to date, and their songs touch on themes such as loneliness, freedom and the search for new bohemian appearances.

Band members Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will release their 15th studio album titled Nonetheless on April 26, BTA reports.

“It’s one of the most melodic albums we’ve ever done. It’s maybe not as danceable as some of the others, but it’s very warm,” Tennant told Reuters.

“The COVID lockdown must have had an impact on us because the first song is called Loneliness. And Why am I dancing? is why I feel like dancing when I’m alone,” he added.

The song New London Boy deals with Tennant’s move to London as a teenager and the uncertainty of youth.

Dancing star was inspired by the famous Russian dancer Rudolf Nureyev, who fled the Soviet Union in 1961.

“In the 1960s you could feel freedom, and now I think in many places around the world we’re seeing that’s not the case anymore,” Tennant said.

Bullet for Narcissus presents the point of view of former US President Donald Trump’s bodyguard, and The schlager hit parade focuses on German pop music.

The band “Pet Shop Boys” was formed in 1981. In 1984, they released their debut single West End Girls, which became a hit. Their other hits include It’s a Sin, Heart and Go West.
