Glavchev: I proposed to Radev to take over the post of foreign minister

The change is after a conversation with the acting Prime Minister and proposals received on his part on the basis of Art. 99 par. 5 of the Constitution.

With the same decree, Radev releases Stefan Dimitrov from the position of acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, a Kiril Vatev – from the position of Minister of Agriculture and Food.

He called Glavchev’s proposal “avant-garde.”

Radev pointed out that did not defend Stefan Dimitrov, but he was against the vice-chairman of a party being responsible for elections abroad. In Friday the deputy from GERB-SDS Daniel Mitov, who is also the deputy chairman of GERB, stated that refuses to be foreign minister. “I should not become a bone of contention at the moment, so I am withdrawing my approval to be foreign secretary,” he said.
