“Next is a competition that will be announced by the Metropolitan Municipality to decide what will be in the Prince’s Garden,” she explained. Todeva reported that the monument has many compromised tablets. “For this reason, the inscription was also removed. For now, the monument will not be repaired until its fate is decided,” Todeva said.

She confirmed that the dismantled figures are still in the village of Lozen, where they await restoration. “At this stage, we are preparing to launch the public procurement for their restoration. I think we will be ready to announce it this week. The restoration will cost about BGN 2.5 million, but it will be necessary to make another public procurement for the casting of the pedestals. on which to place the figures in the museum,” she added. Todeva reported that the Minister of Culture has not yet given his consent for the figures to be moved to the garden in front of the building of the Museum of Art from the Socialist Period.
