Tusk and Morawiecki got into an argument after a Russian rocket fell near the Polish border

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Saturday (April 27th) that one of the Russian missiles that attacked Ukraine fell 15 km from the Polish border and criticized Mateusz Morawiecki’s policies.

Tusk wrote on the X social network that “dozens of bombs and rockets fell over the Lviv region last night. One is 15 km from our border.”

Tusk then criticized his predecessor, Mateusz Morawiecki, a leading politician from the opposition Law and Justice party.

“At this moment, Morawiecki is developing a joint anti-European strategy with pro-Putin far-right politicians in Budapest. Stupidity? Treason? Or both?” Tusk wrote.

In a comment under Tusk’s post, Mateusz Morawiecki writes:

“You are a pathetic propagandist who is complicit in what is happening in Ukraine today. While you were implementing the “reset” on relations with Russia, they were arming themselves and preparing plans to destroy Ukraine. You were so fast asleep in Europe that the Germans had to be woken up days after the war broke out. If it wasn’t for the Polish government in February 2022, Ukraine could have collapsed.”
