Grigor Dimitrov is already the ambassador of the first Bulgarian startup valued at over a billion dollars

Grigor Dimitrov and the company Payhawk (“Payhawk”) announced a partnership at an event before the start of the “Masters” tournament in Madrid. A company for managing corporate expenses is the first Bulgarian unicorn – a startup valued at over 1 billion dollars, and its logo will now be on the equipment of the Bulgarian tennis player.

The word unicorn has long acquired a different meaning, and you can be sure that here we are not talking about the mythical creature, but about a private company that did not make its initial public offering on a regulated market and created a new product (most often technological, financial or one derived from a combination of the two), but is already valued at $1 billion. There are also some more specific requirements, such as, for example, being supported by a local venture capital fund in its growth process and raising new capital.
