In the next week, a Road Map with deadlines for implementation and precisely scheduled commitments of the contractor companies of the Southern Bypass Collector, Tsarevets Street and Hadji Dimitar Street in the Zapaden district will be drawn up. Then it will become clear when exactly the “Moder-Tsarevets” transport underpass will be opened for traffic.
This is the decision from today’s working meeting, which was held by the mayor of Plovdiv, Kostadin Dimitrov.
He specified that this road map is extremely important, as the contractors on the projects are different, as are the contracting authorities.
“We had the option of launching Moder-Tsarevets and after two weeks closing it again due to the construction of a large shaft on Hadji Dimitar Street.” At today’s meeting, it was decided that traffic will be released only after these construction activities are finished,” said Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov.
“Moder-Tsarevets” is expected to be launched at “Solunska” and “Hadji Dimitar” streets at the beginning of June, but the exact dates will become clear next week, specified the deputy mayor in charge of “Construction, Investments and Municipal Property”, Eng. Tosho Pashov.
