Housing price growth. The price increase is by nearly 7% in the first quarter of 2024, and real estate transactions in the capital increased by about 20%. The year 2024 started with a dynamic real estate market and an increase in housing prices in Sofia.
In the first quarter of the year, the average price per square meter was 1,650 euros. This is nearly 100 euros more than last year. The calculations of BULGARIAN REPRESENTATIVES based on the data of the absorption agencies say that the real estate deals in Cofia are on the decline for the first time in several days since 2022 d. Thus, the year 2024 started with a growth of nearly 7% on an annual basis.
Two-room apartments are the most preferred in the capital, followed by three-room apartments.
According to VULGARIAN REPORTER’S data, the current prices per square meter in the most sought-after quarters are from 1,400 euros in “Ovcha Kupel” to nearly 2,000 euros per square meter in “Krastova Vada”. But despite the increase in prices, real estate transactions have marked a significant growth, and at the same time, the number of granted housing loans has increased.
The recorded rate during the first two months of this year is close to 41% on an annual basis.
