Bulgaria occupies 15th place in terms of salary for people with free professions, and the average salary for such work in our country is 148 dollars. Freelancing is a contract-based profession where, rather than being employed by an organization, the employee, called a “freelancer,” uses their skills and experience to provide services to a range of clients.

The study, conducted by software company Bookipi, which uses the Upwork platform, found out what freelancers in 40 different countries were paid on average. They looked at several popular services, including logo design, video editing, and data entry. For each service in each country, the starting and ending amount paid were collected and the overall average price for the service was calculated.

Colombia ranks as the country with the cheapest freelancers, with an average job costing $72.13.

In second place is Brazil, where the average cost to hire a freelancer is $79.81. In third place is Argentina with an average rate of $80.84, making it the second cheapest country to hire a freelance virtual assistant.

The fourth cheapest country to hire a freelancer is Jamaica with an average rate of $88.63. Rounding out the top five is Venezuela with a price of $93.41 a freelance job.

At the other end of the scale, Australia has the most expensive freelancers, costing an average of $594.56 per job. India follows as the second most expensive country with an average rate of $501 for freelancing, while Morocco ranks third with an average cost of $402.

While this is true for India, the second country to appear in the ranking, freelancers can command higher wages thanks to their specialized skills and experience in industries such as software development, IT services and digital marketing,” Tim Lee commented on the data. , CEO and founder of Bookipi.
