A campaign entitled “Caps for the Future” is taking place this Sunday in Burgas. It is part of the national campaign that takes place in April and this year it will be a fact in 33 cities in the country.
The goal is to use the funds collected from the delivery of the plastic to purchase medical equipment for at least 20 children’s, maternity and neonatology departments throughout the country.
You can hand over the collected caps and jugs to the Billa parking lot next to the “Trapezitsa” roundabout, reported Ivo Popov, coordinator of “Club for the Future” – Burgas:
“You should know that what we collect are caps that must be numbered on the inside of the cap 2 and 5 – caps of water, soft drinks, beer, detergents, softeners, milk, juices, etc. Vials of collagen, medicines, nutritional supplements are not collected and handed over, you can throw them in the yellow containers. Aluminum jugs are also accepted. They must have the number ALU 41 in a triangle at the bottom of the package.’
Volunteers are also being sought for the campaign to help sift through the donated caps, pour them into big bags, crush the jugs and put them into larger sacks. Anyone who wants to can help. The advice is to dress in comfortable, old clothes and wear a sun hat.
The action started at 9 am and will continue until 2 pm.
