While I was a minister, I received a request for explanations on a secret DANS report against me

In the fifth month since I was elected as a minister, I receive a request for explanations on a secret DANS report against me, in which it is claimed that I am endangering the work of the ministry (and national security, respectively). This is what PP-DB MP and former Minister of Electronic Government Bozhidar Bojanov wrote on the social network H.

The occasion is the interview of Kiril Petkov at Dikov.

“The report is actually a retelling of a denunciation received by DANS from an employee of the agency under the ministry and contains completely false statements. We write explanations in which we refute the “report” with documents and public information and close the topic. (There was nothing secret in it, so DANS according to to me violates the law by over-classifying such denunciations, but because of the vulture I cannot share details)”, writes Bojanov.

“I know that there have been reports of this type against other ministers. And while my reaction was that of a routine nuisance, I think that these whistle-blowing reports work successfully as a means of intimidating the principle of ‘you have a problem and we can help you fix it’ you decide”, especially with more unstable ministers”, he adds.

“And this is one of the many reasons in the PPDB memorandum and in the draft agreement to put “reform in the services”. In the GERB draft it was written “we must have a conversation about the services”. A small difference”, says Bojanov.

“So if you wonder why we are going to elections – because the deep state does not want to lose its tools for parallel power that is not subject to democratic accountability. And we may have made many compromises, but a compromise with the main goal – liberation of the conquered state – is not we did, he concludes.
