The municipal councilor Stefan Spasov was not beaten, as reported a few days ago by “Save Sofia”, which is part of the group of “Continuing the change-Democratic Bulgaria-Save Sofia” (PP-DB-SS) in the Sofia Municipal Council (SOS). This is what Ivo Doshev claims on his Facebook profile, for whom “Save Sofia” reported that he attacked the municipal councilor.

Ivo Doshev also claims that he spoke with the municipal councilor, they discussed the project and the scope of work and left. He was not beaten while inspecting the workers, as claimed, Ivo Doshev said.

“After I asked him about the electric buses and why they are missing as a strategy for Sofia, given that they are the cheapest and most environmentally friendly transport, Stefan Spasov suddenly became aggressive and went after me to pick on me, obviously looking for a conflict with me. I for my part i was in a hurry because i had work for the day and i was trying to get home to start it and i was not paying attention to him and he was taking pictures of me with his phone camera while i was walking and picking on me me”, Ivo Doshev describes the incident in his post.

“He didn’t like me not paying attention and he kept following me, still looking for a conflict. When I got to the front door he stood in front of me and wouldn’t let me in, started pushing me and pulls and pulls my hand while unlocking, but even then I didn’t, I just took off his glasses with two fingers and sent him to get them. I unlocked and went in. That’s what happened – and neighbors, and workers described exactly this in their testimony – and only Stefan Spasov wrote that he was beaten,” Ivo Doshev also claims.
